A psychodynamic counselling service based in Redhill, Surrey, offering in-person and online sessions

About Me

Hello, and welcome. I'm Danielle, a psychodynamic counsellor and registered BACP member offering counselling in Redhill, Surrey, and online. I offer a calm, reflective space where you can explore whatever feels important to you. I believe strongly in each person's capacity for growth and am passionate about supporting people to develop greater self-understanding, resilience and emotional wellbeing.

My background includes working within the charity sector, supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, as well as working with people and families affected by the criminal justice system. These experiences have taught me how important it is to meet each person with empathy, respect, and understanding.

My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in psychodynamic thinking. I offer a calm, consistent space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we look at the patterns and experiences that may be shaping your life today, creating room for insight, emotional growth, and lasting change. I work with curiosity and compassion, supporting you to deepen your self‑understanding and move towards a more grounded and authentic way of being.

Starting counselling can feel like a big step, but it’s also the beginning of meaningful change. I offer a free 15 minute consultation so you can get a sense of how I work and whether this space feels right for you.

If you choose to continue, sessions are 50 minutes and held at the same time each week. You don’t have to navigate things alone.

My Story

My path into counselling grew from a deep curiosity about how our past experiences shape us. I have experience of working in the charity sector, supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and practical challenges. This experience has shown me how transformative it can be to have a space where you feel genuinely heard and understood.

This led me to train as a psychodynamic counsellor, and I am now a registered BACP member with a Foundation Degree (FdA) in Psychodynamic counselling. I have supported people navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, the impact of childhood trauma, emotional regulation and work-related stress & burnout.

If you're considering therapy and would like to arrange a free 15-minute consultation, I'd be pleased to hear from you.
